California’s middle class is the backbone of our economy. The Middle-Income Job Task Force is focused on creating and sustaining good jobs by supporting emerging energy/tech/space/logistics industries, strengthening workforce reskilling, manufacturing, healthcare/life sciences, sports/entertainment, and agricultural jobs are of particular focus. This task force is pursuing policies that balance the needs of workers to be productive while ensuring small businesses can thrive and stay in the communities in which residents live.
